Collecting the body..

The decision made - order placed - we were going with Gardner Douglas in Grantham. A Mark IV Euro chassis. We loved the engineering, Andy and Meena`s enthusiasm and intimate knowledge of the car, the way the car handled on the test drive and they were local to us.

So a very exciting day, a Luton van, some extra muscles to lift and within half an hour the body, and bits, were loaded up - day 1.

The body fitted safely in the van with several inches to spare all round. Three of us made easy work of the loading. Unloading with two was a little more tricky however, with the newly built trolley, we managed it.
